What is VPD?

Vapor Pressure Deficit, or VPD, is the difference (deficit) between the amount of moisture in the air and how much moisture the air can hold when it is saturated.

The Water Plus sensor monitors the ambient temperature, the radiated temperature of the leaf, and the relative humidity. Targets are set by the grower. When the accumulated value is reached, the irrigation and/or misting valves will operate. The control constantly adjusts for current environmental factors.
